View Full Version : what steering upgrades??

ok i need to kno what brand of steering stuff to get, knuckles, c-hub, steering crank, ect. also can i get some tips on moding the front end so the camber stays constant.

those r a good investment i found but only in conjunction with other parts. The 3racing steering blocks and knuckles work great. U can even put a 7/4 bearing(the big one on the slipper shaft) and cut some 3/32 aluminim to insert inside the bearing in place pf that hardware kit. That takes out all of the camber play/slop from the knuckles.

I tried that atomic set and I am not satisfied. It is not a straight swap. I had to lengthen all four turnbuckles up front. I ordered the 3racing knuckles. The atomics also bent after a jump. They are not as beefy.

i found that just ading the 3racing steering knuckles took out all oy my play? maby i just got lucky

well now i am looking at the 3r knuckles and steering blocks. what about the srevo saver? that seems to have lots of play.

I got the 3racing bb steering rack, however when I assemble it, they dont move smoothly. It seems as if the steering rack is rubbing against something. Did anybody have similar problem with this ?

I have now put the original plastic one back and it works fine.
