Now that is one geat idea for the battery pack. When do you think it might be available from URC?

And you must be working overtime doing all this stuff before Christmas. But then some one has got to do it and right now you are that Man!

That's a sweet idea bit-san, any idea if they will be able to make them to order with GP's or IB's?

...Pullstarter they have GP1100 IN them already ;) After you have gone with URC packs you wont need to bother with anything else ;) BTW this battery was 'designed' by yours truly :o

How does the weight distribution end up with the 3racing motor mount, big motor (Aon/Hyperion), Reciever and BL ESC? I would think the left side would be 25% heavier, but I'm a dope! =)

Any more reliable information out there?

I would get the extreme pack coz i think? they are GP cells, the cheaper cells that URC sell are ok for brushed but i've heard they arent quite up to BL use, just what i've heard. Make sure you get GP's or IB's, I don't think anything else is worth getting to be honest.

Eclipse chassis, STiffy top deck
Kyosho Ctr diff, Ti ctr shafts, 3R steering
Futaba 9650 servo on hard plastice mounts, alu. arm
Aon 2415-4900 on 3R aloy mount, (standard Eclipse sub-mount)
Kyosho oil shocks on CAW shock towers
mamba 25 esc, Futaba R203HF receiver on STiffy (ctr line)
3R alloy knuckles, 3R alloy rear hubs, 3R swing shafts.
United RC H71 xtreme pack (7cell, 8.4V) on left side
No wheels
This configuration w/o rcvr and esc are in gallery
LF 193 g RF 171 g 26.8% 23.7%
LR 177 g RR 180 g 24.5% 24.9%
F 364 g 50.5%
R 357 g 49.5%
L 370 g 51.3%
R 351 g 48.7%

At this point in the setup, I don't think I will worry about weight distribution. When I have everything nailed down, I will look at moving something or maybe relocating weight for balance. I would leave the 1% or so front and try to get the 10 grams to the left. Not too much to worry about really.
If you have a different experience or suggestions, I would be glad to hear them.

I just put the wheels on with the body and total weight is 867g with battery. Not bad.

...IMHO if you are PRo, and VERY concerned about being on the podium then by all means do the research on this......Using a PitBull with a STiffy if feels 'chunky' in my hands but once it is out there 'rolling' it is not noticeable...We need to wait for the user reviews ;)

i dont worry about weight until i need to change my attitude in the air, which i do, so how do i make my front end lighter? my H8 nose dives off jumps.

Call URC (email would work better, sorry) and tell them what you want. They will make it for you. I think most of their stuff is made on request. If you read the fine print on their site, it says this on the bottom.
