I used that motor in my Mini Quake & had very impressive results. It has the larger shaft size (like 380 & 400 size motors). Which is perfect for Mini Quake and Vendetta, since they come with 380 motors. Also, the MQ & Vendetta have metric 48 pich pinions, which are hard to come by for 2mm shaft motors.

Hello,
I have a MI ST and absolutely love it... I have already started planning for brushless and I have also looked into the Golden Horizons 4700Kv motor....
If you look at the specs you will see that it is the same size in diameter as the stock MI motor, and it has a 2.3mm shaft....
I believe for the MI ST that this motor might be the best because of the torque it puts out over the AON or the Mamba motors....Its got a much longer can and will produce that torque needed for the MI ST....
The only problem with this motor is that it WILL NOT FIT in a stock MI or MI ST....It is 44mm long and will be crammed up against the Bellcrank of the front end when used with the stock MI motor mount position... The only solution for this is to do the Diff swap and remount the motor on the right rear side of the MI... This gives the motor the extra space needed for mounting....
I will be doing this with my new CAW Aluminum Chassis and top plate that I am getting soon...
I will let you all know how this motor works out....
I will be using a Tekin Mini Rage as the esc and a 3 cell Lipo for the battery...

Thanks

As stated above, the motor will not fit, trust me. A buddy runs it in his vendetta and the can is too long. Go AON or Hyperion for drop-in brushless.
