HK$1,200.- = USD154

Stock car. Tested on 6 x AA Duracell. Waiting for the 9.6V 8 pack cells, dunno when it will be available. It runs slow on the 6 x AA.

Great car but really needs lots of hopups. The whole car is plastic made, even the 4WD shaft. Oil shock is a must since the spring is kinda too soft for rough road. It comes with some plastic extra parts like black dust cover for the transmission unit (the installed one is a transparent plasitc, looks good but bad protection).

Despite the remote control is not the best in the market (kinda chessy), the response is good enough for a mini buggy.

Some home-made ball bearing is available in HK, but I rather wait for the Kyosho one. The car is kinda noisy when moving.

In general, the car is kinda expensive since it is all plastic. But I am quite satisfied.

I want Hop UPs Hop Ups Hop UPS!!!!!!!

What is the best Batteries and Charger you guys will recommend?

Just walked out to the post office and retrieved the box! In it was my new gadget! lol It looks great; shiny and well put together; Im thrilled. Thanks Bithed for a smooth and ultra pleasent bussiness transaction. Through the past couple of months we have all been holdin our breath for this one and now its here. I just opened the Box..pics soon to follow. I would reccommend doing bussiness with Bithed to anyone who is looking to get an H8. Great bussiness man, wacko kinda guy but he will get you what you want and ship it to you FAST. Great work Bit.

Hi Whome!

I loved the comparison pic of the Half 8 vs. the Mini T. From my calculations though it should only be 12% larger than the Mini T. It looks a lot bigger than that. What's the actual wheelbase comparison?

ruknd
04-05-2005, 08:15 PM
gosh...it's quite a bit larger than the Mini-t...in fact it looks about 1/2 between the t and a 1:10 scale buggy

Hey Bit, when are you getting more shocks in? I would like to pick up a set for the H8 when you do

WhoMe

The Mini-t is shorter and thinner. From the top down view the width of the two care looks very similar but the Mini-t's fatter wheels actually make it look wider than it actually is. Length wise the Buggy is longer. I havent measured it out yet.

..adrenalin...shop around...you might find some...basically the H8 shox are 1:10 so as long as you get the right attachment attachments ( ) you will be fine...besides, shox are pretty easy to put together...WhoMe figured it out anyway :p

Hello all, we are also pushing our mini t to a 1/16th scale. Still 2 wheel drive with a buggy body. It will be exactly like our mini ts on our site just a little larger. Our wheel base will match the H8. Keep in mind, though still 2 wheel drive, for now. www.countryalloyworks.com Thanks. CAW.

Yes and it mounts fine, but I did use and cut some HPI body mounts for the rear mounts.
