1/4" thick. It's about 5.5 ounces. We're not sure on a price yet, but it'll definitely be under $50.

Slight error there. That is supposed to be 6.5 ounces, unless my scale is wrong. The stock is 2.7 ounces. There is definitely ways to make it lighter, this is only the first prototype.

...WOW!!! Looks great but it DOES look heavy...

...For those of us who are metric, the stock chassis is 64 grams...

...After thrashing my stock at the track on the weekend I have come to understand that weight REDUCTION isnt everything...Bulk is beautiful when and where you need it...I look forward to the evolution of this chassis...I ESPECIALLY want to hear about how it goes without the wings :D

WOW!!!

Its almost as thick as the Pizza at Pizza Junction!! ;) :D

Looks nice but I bet you could get away with a Chassis half the thickness. And weight does make a difference in racing, maybe not as much in this scale.

The weight can also affect the wear of the drivetrain. Make it half the thickness, or less. If the milling is good, you could probabaly ask $75 a piece easy.

I waiting on the Graphite one that someone has to have soon ;) :D

I do not trust graphite after breaking numerous pieces ;) . I beleive that this chassis is going to be awesome once it gets trimmed down a bit (bottom of the chassis).
