Hmm...can any1 enlighten me where can I get the proper n appropriate simple heat sink for the mamba CM2080 brushless motor? It 2 tiny mayb i shd get the aon4900 motor? but dat will b in the near future once i burst this current 1... :D

Troy @ www.b-p-p.com carries the proper heat sink for them. They're the ones that cover the entire diameter of the motor.

Personally, I just picked up two speed 280 heatsinks from my hobby shop and bent them to fit. Then I filled in the gap with some metal epoxy. Works good.

Xact what i did, bought 2 of 3-Racings 280 zinks,bend them, and glued them together..they fits like a gluuuv :D, no extra needed...

Hmm....i only manage 2 get a 3racing 280 sink, I know dat it will fit, but is 1 adequate? shd I get another 1? Btw how bout the mamba 25 esc? wad kinda appropriate sink are there? :rolleyes:

I found a big difference in temps when I stuck two heatsinks on there.

Hmm...ok i will listen 2 ur advice. I will go stick another heat sink on it...the more the cooler it will be...yeah :D

Exactly... I had to cut the other heatsink in half to make it fit though, but from what I've seen two 3-racing ones fit no problem.
